Positive Work Attitudes Earns Waukesha Center an Inspector's Award
In February, 2009 our Waukesha Center received the 2009 Inspector's Award for their outstanding workmanship at the Jefferson Wayside. For the 2009 year, this prestigious awards was only awarded to three crews, one being our Waukesha Center, in the entire RAM program which includes 30 year round rest areas and 48 seasonal waysides.
Congratulations to our eight hard working employees and four staff members efforts who consistently exemplified high standards and continuous positive work attitude throughout the calendar year to earn us this accreditation!
More about the award qualifications:
- RFW, the roadside facilities management agent for WisDOT, with WisDOT's approval may bestow the Inspector's Award to the crew of any rest area or seasonal wayside for exemplary effort and outcomes at the crew's site of responsibility.
- RFW Inspectors choose a given crew based on the consistency of high standards and continuous positive work attitude exemplified by the RAM crew throughout the calendar year.
- The award is based on the cumulative formal inspections done by the Inspector through the year as well as the Inspector's personal observations of and interaction with the crew supervisors and workers.
- The Inspector's award is not necessarily annual as it is presented on the basis of merit, not quota.
